and were off!

Well he is crawling all over the place, standing up ever chance he gets and knocking everything off the coffe table and couches. We can't keep anything on any table or object that he can reach but he is still adorable so we don't mind as much.

Time Flies!

July & August have flown by and Landon is growing like crazy!

He can get into the sitting position, does this weird crawl/sit/roll thing to move around, and is getting his 1st tooth! He also pulled up yesterday into the standing position, so walking is not too far away!

Landon's new favorite thing is Cheerios... They come in handy as a great snack when we're out and about and can't quite give him baby food!

He loves to "bounce" - that's the easiest way to get him to do a full belly laugh.

Landon is Sitting!

Landon can now sit on his own!

He's been sitting with support for a few months, but can now stay up on his own for quite awhile... He's now working on crawling, which means it's time to baby-proof the house!

Such a growing kid!

Landon is 5 months old today... boy has time flown by!

He sits up with support, loves to stand, & rolls over in both directions.

Landon also likes to look at the fish with Lance (his cat)... This is where he "chills" after he eats, while mom & dad eat their dinner! His favorite food is still sweet potatoes, but pears & peaches are a close second.

Landon thinks the dogs are hilarious! He'll also laugh at me when we "dance" or I kiss him right by his ear.

Tonight we gave him his favorite sweet potatoes, and attempted to introduce stage 1 chicken. HE HATED THE CHICKEN. He acted like he did not no how to swallow and spit all of it out. What a face he made!!

Landon is so much fun!! He's quite the chatter box sometimes, as you can tell from the video. These are his "dinosaur" noises...

He's about 4 1/2 months old now... getting so big!

Good Weekend & Veggies

Chris and I took a weekend to ourselves for our 5th Wedding Anniversary- went to Fredericksburg. We had a really good time! My favorite part was the night we sat out on the deck and talked for hours. We hadn't been able to have a "real" conversation like that in a long time!!

Landon is doing well-- he's eating jar food now. He liked the green beans but he LOVES his sweet potatoes! Next we try pears...

Landon Rolls Over!

Well we missed it the first few times, but Landon is finally rolling over! He rolled over the most this past Mother's Day... in fact we could not get him to stop! As soon as we put him on the ground he would roll right over! Then he gets frustrated because he does not like to be on his tummy!!
